Learning With Food - French Toast Numbers

I made Hugo these French Toast Numbers for his first breakfast back home, after our holiday.
He loved them and we had fun counting them 1,2,3,4,5 as he ate them.



For the toast, I used 1 slice of wholewheat bread and 1 organic farm egg.
I cut the numbers from the bread with a cookie cutter and then dipped the numbers into the beaten egg.
Then I fried the eggy bread in my non-stick ceramic pan over a medium heat.
I sprinkled cinnamon over the toast and drizzled a little golden syrup. I served some apple puree and sliced bananas on the side.
Yummy!
