Yesterday I made some homemade chicken sausage rolls for Hugo. He's still in his 'self-feeding phase' so whilst surfing the net for some inspiration, I came across a recipe for these on the Australian website Kidspot
What's great about this recipe is that the rolls contain hidden veggies!
I found them really easy to make, Hugo thoroughly enjoyed eating them and dipping them into some tomato ketchup AND they will keep in the fridge for a few days and make a great on-the-go snack for Hugo's snack box.
The recipe made up quite a lot of the 'sausage' mixture. Rather than making up a gazillion sausage rolls, I wrapped the excess in cling film and plan on rolling it into balls, crumbing them and making some fried or oven baked edible 'soccer balls' today for Hugo.
